To develop an algorithm that creates effective solutions to different slope stability problems by using various optimization methods.

CURRENT STATE OF THE RESEARCH

  • Analyzing various slope stability problems in different programs such as GEO5, PLAXIS and Rocscience
  • Working on the development of a metaheuristic algorithm that can minimize the Factor of Safety for the critical slip surface
  • Conducting literature research to have a better understanding of the different optimization methods that can be used for the eligible slope stability cases.
